Where we are, and how to reach us
Hermes Auto Sales is at 420 Broadway, Taunton, MA 02780, directly on Route 138 in Taunton and about five minutes south of I-495. That puts the lot within an easy drive of Fall River, Raynham, Rehoboth, Middleborough, and Providence.
By road
Which way do I come in from?
Route 24
From the south — Fall River, Somerset, Swansea, Freetown
Route 24 runs north out of Fall River and into Taunton, and it is the fastest way up from the river towns. Fall River is inside the half-hour band; Freetown is closer than most people expect, well under it.
Route 44
From the west — Seekonk, Rehoboth, and Rhode Island
Route 44 comes east out of Providence through Seekonk and Rehoboth and lands in Taunton. It is one road most of the way, which is why Providence sits about 19 miles from the lot rather than an expedition.
Route 138
From the north — Raynham, Easton, Norton
420 Broadway is directly on Route 138. From Raynham, stay on Route 138 South into Taunton and the lot is on the route, not a side street. Easton and Norton are also inside the twenty-five-minute band.
I-495
From the northwest and east — Mansfield, Foxborough, Middleborough
Take Route 138 South from I-495. 420 Broadway is about five minutes from the highway, with the Walmart near the start of the route as a useful landmark.

How long will it take me to get there?
These are ordinary, traffic-depending drive times, grouped rather than promised to the minute. Everything in the first two bands is a same-day trip with a test drive in it and no planning required.

Across the line
Is it worth driving up from Rhode Island?
It is a shorter trip than most Rhode Islanders assume: Providence is about 19 miles from the lot, East Providence about 16, Pawtucket about 19, and Route 44 does nearly all of the work. The reason people hesitate is not the drive, it is the paperwork — who collects the sales tax, what the police-station VIN inspection is, and how quickly Rhode Island wants its own inspection sticker on the car.

Answer the questions before you set off
Call and we will go through the car, the mileage, the history and the full out-the-door number on the phone. A wasted forty-minute drive helps nobody.
A free CARFAX on any vehicle, before you commit
Ask and we send it. You do not have to be standing in the office to see it.
An independent inspection at a shop you pick
You are welcome to arrange a pre-purchase inspection at your own expense, anywhere within a reasonable radius — bring a valid driver's licence. Specialty and performance vehicles additionally need manager approval.
Registration handled, in state or out
Massachusetts registrations are normally 1 to 3 business days plus your insurer's turnaround. Out-of-state registrations take a week or more; the usual hold-up in either case is waiting on insurance details, so have your agent ready.

The advertised price includes our flat $635 documentation fee. There are no reconditioning, prep, emissions, compliance or add-on charges, and the distance you drove does not change the number.
